Viewing Help

Viewing a live Webcast

This is where you will log in and particpate with a webcast in session. Here, you can watch the presentation, download course materials, view slides, chat with other users, and the best feature of all ask a live question.

Please be aware that if there is no scheduled webcast in session, the interface will be grayed out.

1. Host Video

The host's video can be seen here along with their audio level

2. Download Course Materials

Click here to download materials that the host may have included with their presentation.

3. View Presentation Slides

You can view the slides from the presentation here. Slides will be synched up to the host, so if they advance, your slide window will advance. You may also scan ahead or go back to another slide by the clicking the backward and forward buttons here. You can also sync back up to the host's presentation by clicking "Sync." Also, if you would like to get a better view of the slides, click on the magnifiying glass up top to zoom in. Click it again to go back to normal view. It's like getting a front seat fo the presentation!

4. My Video and the Questioner's Video

You can see view yourself in the "My Video" windo if you have a webcam installed on your system. The "Questioners Video" window allows you to see who is currently asking a question. Have a question of your own? Click "Raise Hand" and if the host acknowledges you, you'll see yourself on the "Questioners Video" window. Here's your chance to ask to s peak one on one with the presenter!

5. The Participant Discussion Window

You can chat with other participants live during the presentation. Here you can ask other participants questions, get into heated debates, or further discuss the presentation at hand. Keep in mind that the host has the authority to disable the chat window if the chat is too distruptive to the presentation.

6. Current Participants List

You can see the names of other participants in the webcast with you here.
