1. Host Video
Your video can be seen here along with your audio level. You also have the option of temporarily turning off your visual and/or audio. Just click on the toggles in the lower left corner of the screen. Your video or audio will be hidden from the participants until you toggle back.
2. Start/Stop Webcast
When you enter a session, you will automatically start webcasting so that users may see you. Not only does this cut off your audio and video entirely but it disconnects the stream as well. If you temporarily want to mute your microphone or hide the visual, use of the toggles is suggested.
3. Start/Stop Recording
When you are ready, you may start your recording of the presentation. A flashing red icon will appear notifying you that recording is in progress. Not only does it record your audio and video feeds, it also records the chat as well as the live questions that students may have. Neat trick, huh? Click again to stop recording.
4. Student Off
After you have acknowledged a student's raised hand (9), you will see their video in the "Questioners Video" window (12). Their feed will appear there until you click "Student Off." Once you have clicked the "Student Off" button, you are ready to acknowledge another raised hand.
5. Disable/Enable Chat
Is the chat getting too disruptive? Do you like the power of forcing those under your tyrannical rule? Then you might be interested in the "Disable Chat" button. Clicking this will remove the participant discussion window for all users. Toggle the button again to enable chat and show them that tyranny can be nice...sometimes.
6. Clear Chat
You can click "Clear Chat" to clear that chat box. Pretty useful.
7. Main Menu
Click this to go back to the administration menu. Clicking this will end the webcast and stop recording.
8. Upload Resources
Forgot to upload content when scheduling a session? No problem! Now you can upload course materials live during your presentation without having to go back to the main menu.
9. Student Request
This dialogue box will pop up when a student raises their hand. Click "Yes" to acknowledge them and you'll be able to hear and see them.
10. Slide Window
Your presentation slides will be contained here. Click forward and your students' windows will advance forward. Click backward and their windows will do the same. Ahh, it's good to be King.
11. Participant Discussion
You can see students' discussion here, and even participate yourself. You also have the ability to clear chat (6) or turn it off completely (5).
12. Questioners Video
After you acknowledge a student's raised hand (9), you can see their video here.
13. Participant List
You can see the names of the participants here.
